This was a very timely and thought-provoking read. My family and I turned up to St Matthew's on Sunday for my son's baptism and were greeted by silent protesters with banners, and not so silent passers-by who threw bottles at them. What a terrible shame that people are behaving this way. The billboard was controversial- sure, but the message is love - the message made room for people like me who want to have a place for Christianity but are not sure where they fit. She needs new hope. The idea of virgin birth for her may be discovering a new way to live. She is creatively changing how she looks at each day. She is learning to reach out to others in new ways. She is an artist and is using her dreams to create new pieces of art that may contribute to her healing. For her it is a Virgin Birth each morning. Sometimes several times a day. Blessing upon her.
